About Me
I am an award winning singer, songwriter, actor and Voice Over Artist.
I have performed at the Roundhouse, the 100 Club, Ronnie Scott's, The Jazz Cafe and many more. My music has been championed by BBC Radio 6 Music (Where my original compositions have received Track of the Day many times), BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio London, JazzFM, as well as stations in Europe, North America and Australia. My Christmas trilogy Darkside of Christmas was recorded at Abbey Road and Dean Street Studios, London and features the voices of Ray Winstone, Maxine Peake, James Nesbitt, Laura Whitmore, and Fra Fee. I am currently recording my next album.
As an actor I have extensive experience and have worked with the likes of Jane Campion, Michael Winterbottom, Ray Panthaki, Samantha Morton. I have also worked on TV shows such as Coronation St, Casualty, Gold and many more.I have treaded the boards in many great theatre's including, The Everyman Theatre, Liverpool and the National Theatre Studios, London. I studied both Meisner and the Stanislavski techniques. I recently wrote, directed, and starred in a one woman play based on the life of Janis Joplin called Tomorrow May Be My Last for a three month run at the legendary The Old Red Lion Theatre in London, which garnered several nominations and awards receiving many 5 star reviews.
As a voice over artist I have voiced many TV and radio adverts including the BBC's election film and I'm currently the voice for the Centre Point charity Campaign.
